Thirteen arrested and five drug points dismantled in Santo Domingo Norte
The National Police arrested 13 people caught in the act during operations in Santo Domingo Norte. Illegal weapons, drugs and stolen items were seized.
Police operations result in 13 arrests and five drug distribution points closed in Santo Domingo Norte
The National Police detained 13 people caught in the act during preventive interventions carried out over the last 24 hours in various sectors of Santo Domingo Norte, according to acento.com.do.
During the course of the operations, officers seized three illegal firearms—two conventional and one of homemade manufacture—and executed an outstanding arrest warrant.
Five drug distribution points were dismantled. At these locations, portions of alleged cocaine, marijuana and crack were seized. One additional person was detained for alleged possession of narcotic substances, whilst two others were caught participating in clandestine motorcycle races.
Among the recovered goods were six mobile telephones, cash, three motorcycles, a vehicle battery, a radiator and other items reported as stolen. Likewise, 12 motorcycles were retained for lack of documentation, and an illegal gambling machine was seized.
