Fight in Magaluf: four club employees arrested after incident at Santa Ponsa PAC
According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, a fight between employees of two clubs in Magaluf concluded on Friday with the detention of four men, all workers at one of the two establishments.
The incident began at around 7:00 hours in a bar where several employees were having breakfast after their work shifts. Apparently, there was already a previous dispute, but the situation escalated into an open fight.
Calvià Police and the Civil Guard attended the scene. After breaking up the brawl, officers advised those involved to go to the Santa Ponsa PAC to obtain medical reports that could serve as a basis for filing complaints. All refused to be taken by ambulance.
At 8:30 hours, as children were heading to school near the health centre, a new fight broke out at the PAC itself. Civil Guard officers used pepper spray against the four men from one of the clubs—three Italians and a citizen from Eastern Europe—to subdue them. All four were arrested and charged with assault, threats and coercion.
