The Civil Guard has arrested a man in Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real) for a dozen offences against property and public order, according to cadenaser.com. The detainee also had active search and arrest warrants against him.

According to available information, the man used a similar method each time: he would access the interior of homes and hospitality premises by forcing windows or climbing to enter the buildings.

When officers proceeded to execute his arrest, the suspect struck one of the Civil Guard officers with an electric scooter, which aggravated his criminal situation.

The Civil Guard attributes to him four offences of theft with force, two of shoplifting, three of breach of sentence, two of resistance and disobedience, one offence of assault on officers of the law and one offence of criminal damage.

The proceedings conducted and the detainee himself were referred to the Court of First Instance, Civil and Investigative Section of Alcázar de San Juan, which ordered his remand in custody.
