National Police arrested a 34-year-old man in Alicante after catching him selling drugs. More than 17,500 euros and approximately 40 grammes of cocaine were found at his home.

National Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in Alicante on suspicion of involvement in a drug trafficking offence, according to cadenaser.com. Officers intercepted him at the moment he had just completed a sale of narcotics.
Public safety officers who were carrying out prevention work observed two individuals handing money to a third man, who took a plastic-wrapped package from his pockets. Considering it could be a drug-for-money exchange, the officers approached to identify those involved.
After identifying themselves as National Police, one of the buyers admitted they had arranged with this man to purchase narcotics. A subsequent search of the suspected dealer revealed several additional packages containing cocaine, hashish and cannabis in his clothing, along with the money received from the sale. All the substance was seized and the man was arrested.
On suspicion that the detainee might be storing more drugs at his home, Police requested a judicial warrant for entry and search from the competent authority. The results of the search were significant: approximately 40 grammes of cocaine, around 7.5 grammes of tusi, 30 grammes of hashish and 87 grammes of cannabis. Additionally, officers seized more than 17,500 euros in banknotes, two precision scales and multiple tools intended for dose preparation.
After police procedures were completed, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the on-duty investigative courts in Alicante.
