Man arrested in Arrecife with 74 grammes of cocaine and 1,243 sildenafil tablets
National Police arrested a 48-year-old man in an establishment in Arrecife (Lanzarote) after seizing cocaine, sildenafil and more than 2,000 euros in cash.

According to rtvc.es, National Police arrested a 48-year-old man on the night of 24 August in an establishment in Arrecife, capital of Lanzarote, as the suspected perpetrator of a public health offence.
The intervention was carried out by officers from the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) as part of preventive operations against drug trafficking. During the search of the establishment, police officers first found a fanny pack containing 268 sildenafil tablets of 100 milligrammes and a quantity of cash.
The search inside the establishment subsequently allowed officers to locate several packages with a white solid substance that, pending final analysis, appeared to be cocaine. A total of 101 packages weighing approximately 74.30 grammes were seized.
Officers also seized a further 975 sildenafil tablets, bringing the total seized to 1,243 units. A digital precision scale was also confiscated. The total amount of cash seized came to 2,020.05 euros.
The High Command of Canary Islands Police confirmed the facts through a press release. The person responsible for the establishment was arrested as the suspected perpetrator of the offence and transferred to National Police headquarters in Arrecife, where he remained in police custody for the continuation of proceedings.
