According to elmundo.es, the National Police detained a man as the suspected perpetrator of attempted murder after stabbing and leaving a 33-year-old man in a serious condition in Alcorcón.
The attack occurred on 20 August at 20:30 hours on Badajoz Street. The CIMACC 091 emergency centre alerted officers that a person had suffered a stab wound at that location, according to sources from the Superior Police Headquarters.
The Summa 112 emergency service attended to the victim at the scene; the victim had a lacerated puncture wound and was transported in serious condition to a hospital.
The Judicial Police of Alcorcón identified the suspected aggressor and located him the following day in the municipality of Getafe. The arrest was carried out on Friday 21 August at 12:00 hours on suspicion of attempted murder, after which the detainee was placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
