The incident took place in the Latina neighbourhood, one of the 21 districts of the Spanish capital. According to initial investigations, the robber used violence during the assault to obtain the handsets. Following the robbery, law enforcement officers launched an investigation that made it possible to identify and locate the alleged perpetrator in Valdemoro, a municipality located in the southern part of the Madrid region.
