The National Police have arrested a 60-year-old man in Valencia who, over a two-year period, secretly recorded his 14-year-old daughter and her friends in the bathroom and a bedroom of the family home.

The National Police have arrested a 60-year-old man in the city of Valencia accused of secretly recording his own 14-year-old daughter and her friends during visits to the family home. The recordings were made in the bathroom and in a bedroom of the residence over a period of approximately two years.
The investigation began following a complaint filed by the girl's mother, who discovered the recordings on the arrested man's mobile device. The woman found images of her daughter naked in the bathroom and of the teenager's friends in a bedroom.
Officers from the Family and Women's Assistance Unit (UFAM) of the Valencia Superior Police Headquarters took charge of the investigation. Investigators established that the man had been filming the minors for two years, taking advantage of the trust afforded to him by his status as parent.
At the time of arrest, officers seized the mobile device containing the recordings. The investigation remains open, as officers do not rule out the possibility that there may be additional victims.
The arrested man has been released pending charges after appearing before a judge. He is accused of the crimes of corruption of minors and violations of privacy. The case remains in the investigative phase.
