A 30-year-old British tourist was arrested by the Guardia Civil after kissing a cabin crew member on the neck during a Ryanair flight between Stansted and Palma.

A 30-year-old British tourist was detained on Tuesday by the Guardia Civil accused of committing sexual assault on board a Ryanair aircraft on the route between Stansted and Palma de Mallorca on 29 June.
According to Majorca Daily Bulletin (https://www.majorcadailybulletin.com/news/local/2026/07/08/143873/british-tourist-travelling-mallorca-arrested-for-kissing-flight-attendant.html), the man was intoxicated and caused disturbance to both passengers and crew during the afternoon flight. On several occasions he made advances towards a flight attendant and, at one point, kissed him on the neck.
The aircraft captain was informed of the incident and the Guardia Civil in Palma was notified. After landing, the tourist told officers that he would be spending a few days' holiday on the island and was due to return to England on 7 July.
Initially, the assaulted crew member refused to file a complaint against the young man, but ultimately decided to do so. Officers went to the arrivals area to locate the suspect, but he had already left the airport.
The arrest finally took place on Tuesday. The detainee was brought before the courts in Palma and released.
