The events occurred in June, when the coach invited the victim and another minor to eat at his home. After the meal, according to sources close to the case confirmed to Europa Press, the man was left alone with the adolescent and sexually assaulted her. Before leaving, he asked her to keep silent.
The family of the minor noticed that something had changed: the young woman, according to the newspaper Última Hora, "practically stopped speaking". Weeks later she began to experience vomiting and other physical signs that led the family to go to hospital, where a test confirmed the pregnancy.
The National Police proceeded to arrest the alleged attacker. After appearing before the courts, he was released on provisional liberty last Saturday with a restraining order against the minor.
