The Guardia Civil has searched the home of the boyfriend of a woman murdered alongside her daughter in Mijas, detained as the suspected perpetrator of the double homicide.

Agents of the Guardia Civil inspected the house of the suspected perpetrator of the murder of a woman and her daughter in Mijas (Málaga) for several hours on Thursday afternoon. The arrest was made that same day at around 13.00 hours.
The detainee was in a romantic relationship with the adult victim. The bodies of both were discovered on Wednesday at their home in the coastal municipality. He is now also attributed with an armed robbery perpetrated in the context of the crimes.
Units of the Benemérita travelled from early afternoon to the residence of the arrested man, located in the centre of Málaga city. There they are searching for evidence that may shed light on the motives and circumstances of the events.
