The Local Police of Tomiño have initiated proceedings against P.D.B., a 55-year-old resident of the municipality, as the alleged perpetrator of two thefts of cabling belonging to the municipal electrical network, according to vigoe.es. The value of the stolen material exceeds 900 euros.

The incidents took place during the past week at various points in the municipality. The disappearance of several metres of street lighting cable was detected at different locations, which caused disruptions in the functioning of the municipal electrical network and caused economic harm to public funds.

After receiving the corresponding complaint, Local Police officers initiated an investigation to clarify the facts and identify those responsible. The cooperation of several residents and witnesses proved decisive: the information provided, once verified by the officers, made it possible to identify and locate the alleged perpetrator.
