The Civil Guard has dismantled a group of six people in the La Safor region—four already in prison—linked to around thirty crimes including burglaries and commercial robberies, vehicle theft and drug distribution.

A Civil Guard operation has ended the activities of a gang comprising six individuals in the Oliva-Gandía area. Four of them were remanded in prison; the rest were released on provisional freedom. They are attributed with approximately thirty offences committed in municipalities in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante, according to ABC.
The criminal scheme began with the theft of cars, which were hidden for a time to evade police detection. Once out of the spotlight, those same vehicles served as tools in raids on homes and businesses. In September 2025, officers recorded a considerable increase in thefts in the La Safor region: vehicle thefts, burglaries and robberies of bars, pharmacies, petrol stations and newsstands.
Through examination of scenes and security footage, investigators found coincidences pointing to a single group. Operation "Tikras" made it possible to track the movements of the stolen vehicles via traffic cameras and resulted in four search warrants and raids on properties in Gandía, Almoincs and Les Palmeres.
Among the items seized were an unregistered short-barrelled pistol, a weapon disguised as a ballpoint pen, 32-calibre bullets, two knives with prohibited blades, over two thousand seven hundred euros in cash, and various drugs: one hundred and five grammes of cocaine, two hundred and four grammes of marijuana, thirty-six grammes of hashish, thirty LSD cartridges, three point fifty-nine grammes of crystal and twenty-one ecstasy tablets. Clothing used in the offences and mobile phones were also recovered.
The group comprised five males—aged between twenty and forty-three—and one female aged thirty. One of those arrested had two active search warrants against him. The case is being processed at Court of First Instance number 3 in Gandía.
