Authorities have arrested an individual as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual attack against a woman in Pamplona. The incident took place at approximately four forty-five in the early hours of Saturday in the area known as Vuelta del Castillo, according to details in El Mundo.
The municipal government team has issued an official statement in which it expresses its abhorrence of what occurred and its support for the affected person. The local authority reiterates its commitment to combating all forms of violent or discriminatory conduct on the grounds of gender that occur in the municipality.
On the other hand, the body responsible for citizen safety in the Navarrese town became aware, in its session this Saturday, of three complaints of indecent touching committed on the last day of festivities. The arrested man corresponds to one of these three reported cases.
The Pamplona municipal authority has announced its support for the mobilisation called for by the city's feminist groups and urges the population to join the protest concentrations.
