Amiens: man remanded in custody following death of 21-year-old former partner
A young woman was found dead at her home in Amiens, stabbed. Her ex-boyfriend has been remanded in provisional custody.

Law enforcement made a tragic discovery during the night of 27 to 28 June. At around two o'clock in the morning, they entered a flat located on Chaussée Jules Ferry, in the Saint-Acheul district of Amiens. Inside lay the lifeless body of Sarah Serville, a young woman of twenty-one years old.
The victim had numerous wounds caused by a blade, particularly around the neck. A neighbour, named Ibrahima, had to enter the flat for the purposes of the inquiry and described the interior as blood-soaked.
The victim's former partner was apprehended and remanded in custody. Those close to him describe him as a psychologically unstable person. Criminal investigation detectives are now seeking to establish the exact sequence of events that led to this tragedy.
