A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to eight months' custody by Colmar court. He was tried in immediate appearance on Friday 19 June 2026 for drug trafficking offences that took place in the Saint-Joseph neighbourhood.
The case dates back to Tuesday 16 June. Officers from the anti-crime unit (BAC) were patrolling Rue du Weibelambach when they noticed what appeared to be a transaction. The buyer was arrested and admitted to having purchased heroin from the accused, described as "the young man on the spot". The seller was arrested shortly afterwards, according to DNA.
Police officers found several doses of the substance on him, including one prepared for sale. The young dealer, originally from Mulhouse, was remanded in custody following the hearing.
His customer, aged 33, received three months' imprisonment with a suspended sentence and a two-year probationary period. The court also ordered him to submit to medical monitoring and to no longer associate with his supplier.
