According to BRF, the authenticity of the artwork has already been confirmed by experts. Its market value is estimated at between twelve and fifteen million euros. The exact identity of the painting has not yet been made public by the judicial authorities.
Beyond the masterpiece, police also seized luxury items and substantial cash. Four individuals were taken into custody at the conclusion of this operation. The investigation is continuing to determine the origin of the theft and establish any possible links between drug trafficking and the trade in stolen artworks.
