On Friday 26 June, the Senlis court tried several members of a drug trafficking network linking Oise to Spain in emergency proceedings. The courtroom was packed, and court staff distributed water bottles to the public due to exceptional heat.

Several consumers identified their suppliers from photographs. One of the clients, indebted to his dealer, was forcibly taken to a cash machine and threatened with a knife to settle his debt. While some of the defendants had previously been unknown to the justice system or had only minor convictions for traffic offences, the two heads of the network each had 15 and 16 convictions for drug trafficking or acts of violence.
