A police operation on Rue Léonard de Vinci in Besançon led to the arrest of four individuals, including three teenagers, for cannabis and cocaine trafficking.

Officers on patrol discovered an illegal drug dealing operation on 16 June 2026 in a street in the Planoise district of Besançon. The agents observed several passers-by exchanging notes with two dealers.
Police tailed the suspects to a covered car park. There, a third teenager, serving as a lookout, fled upon spotting the officers. The second dealer, aged 16, was hiding a package above the heating pipes. The search recovered 250 euros in notes, 15 grammes of cannabis herb, 90 grammes of cannabis resin and 13 grammes of cocaine.
Another young man aged 17, posted as a lookout, was arrested after shouting to warn his accomplices. The three teenagers were taken to the police station.
The following day, in the mid-afternoon, a 22-year-old man was spotted in the same car park. He was acting as a doorman and was carrying 70 euros on him. He was also placed in provisional detention.
During questioning, the three minors denied any involvement in drug dealing. The adult admitted to the facts but did not provide any additional information to investigators.
Brought before the prosecutor, the teenagers were released under judicial supervision. Pending their appearance before the juvenile judge, they must observe a night-time curfew from 19:00 to 07:00 and must not approach the other suspects.
The adult defendant appeared under summary procedure. The court imposed eight months' detention with suspended sentence and adjustable conditions, as well as exclusion from the Planoise sector for three years.
