Drug trafficking near Le Havre: 13 people arrested in police operation

On the morning of Monday 29 June, a coordinated action between gendarmes and police officers resulted in the apprehension of 13 suspects in Lillebonne, a commune in the Seine-Maritime department on the outskirts of Le Havre. This large-scale operation targeted a network active in the sale of illicit drugs.

During the searches and checks carried out, officials uncovered several pieces of evidence. They notably discovered 400 grammes of cannabis, 100 grammes of cocaine, as well as a sum of 2,500 euros in cash. Two pistols were also seized during the operations.

The thirteen arrested individuals were taken into police custody to be questioned about their involvement in this trafficking. The investigation should make it possible to determine the exact organisation of the network and any accomplices still at large.
