Theft of €40,000 in Spetses – Six arrested in Lygouro, Argolida
Three women stole €40,000 and a Seiko watch from a house in Spetses and fled by sea taxi. Six people were arrested in Lygouro following a coordinated police operation.

Three women are alleged to have taken €40,000 and a Seiko brand watch from a house in Spetses on the afternoon of 5 September, according to Newsbeast. Immediately after the incident, the alleged perpetrators boarded a sea taxi heading towards the Costa area.
From Costa, the three women travelled by road in a taxi to Lygouro in Argolida, where they were met by another vehicle containing three additional people — three men.
The theft complaint immediately mobilised the Spetses Police Department, the Hermionida Police Department and the Epidavros Police Department. Following a coordinated operation, officers from the Hermionida and Epidavros Departments located and arrested all six people in Lygouro.
In total, three women and three men were taken to Nafplio detention facilities. They are expected to appear before the competent prosecuting authority, whilst the preliminary investigation into the case is being conducted by the Spetses Police Department.
