In the early morning hours at Zagreb's Cvjetni Square, a physical altercation occurred in which multiple attackers kicked a young man. Police are conducting a criminal investigation.
Attack on Cvjetni Square: group of men beat young man
In the night from Sunday to Monday at around 3.20 a.m. on Cvjetni Square in central Zagreb, a physical altercation broke out in which a group of men brutally beat a young man.
A witness to the incident filmed the entire incident and provided the footage to media. According to his account, several attackers kicked the victim together whilst he lay on the ground. Another witness confirmed that he found a paramedic team at the scene providing medical care to the young man, who had sustained minor head injuries.
Zagreb police confirmed that they received a report of the incident in the early morning hours and that a criminal investigation is underway. The reason for the altercation remains unknown at this time.
