A 27-year-old Slovenian national ended up in custody in Mali Lošinj following a turbulent night full of violence and threats, according to Net.hr.
Everything occurred between Saturday and Sunday. The young man, according to an official statement, disturbed visitors in a catering establishment, smashed drinks and made threats to staff. Police intervention failed to calm the situation — after being brought to the station, the suspect continued to rampage. In the holding area, he damaged police equipment, insulted officers and issued them with threats to their lives.
Analysis showed 1.65 per mille of alcohol in his blood, and tests confirmed cocaine as well. Criminal investigations were completed on Saturday evening, after which the suspect was handed to the custody supervisor of the Primorsko-goranska Police Administration in Rijeka. The prosecutor's office and court received a criminal report for breach of public order, threats against a public official and destruction of other people's property. On Sunday he was released under precautionary measures following his court hearing.
