A Spanish Erasmus student in Milan was the victim of a violent sexual assault committed by a group of men after an evening at a nightclub. The incident occurred near the venue 'The Beach', located in the eastern part of the Lombardy metropolis, as reported by ABC citing 'Corriere della Sera'.

The young woman reconstructed the events for investigators, recounting how she had sat on the sofas of one of the venue's platforms with a friend. At some point she met two Italian nationals with whom she began to converse. Subsequently she agreed to go outside with one of them, gradually moving away from the nightclub, unaware that the other friend was following them from a distance.

The victim was taken to an area where several vehicles were parked. There, the man she had left the venue with "began to do things that I did not want", the girl told investigators. At that point she noticed the arrival of other friends of her attacker.

From that moment onwards the young woman's memories begin to become confused. "I remember being afraid. I don't know if they pushed me or grabbed me by an arm", she stated. After attacking her by force inside a car, the perpetrators threw her out of the vehicle.

The student managed with great difficulty to return to the nightclub, where she informed a bouncer of what had occurred. Subsequently she reunited with her friend, who took her to hospital and to the carabinieri station to file a report.

The assault was reconstructed through the analysis of security camera footage, forensic evidence and telephone records. Investigators described what occurred as "brutal": initially the two men met at the nightclub initiated the violence, then two others joined in after being called by the first two.

The prosecutor's office in the Lombardy city has opened an investigation and is making every effort to identify and apprehend the attackers.
