A 20-year-old from the Cassino area was reported to the Prefect after State Police found approximately 11 grammes of hashish on him during a drug control operation.

During a drug control operation conducted in the Cassino area, officers from the local State Police Commissariat stopped and checked a 20-year-old boy residing in the zone. During the personal search, it emerged that the young man had approximately 11 grammes of hashish in his pocket.
The substance was seized and its possessor was reported to the Prefect for the administrative infraction relating to drugs legislation. No precautionary custody was applied.
The Police Headquarters communicated that further activities aimed at combating drug dealing and consumption in the territory will continue in the coming days.
