A 51-year-old man already subject to house arrest has been arrested whilst dealing drugs from his home in Cassino.

A fifty-one-year-old man, a local resident and already known to law enforcement, was captured whilst selling narcotics directly from the house in which he was confined. Since January he had been subject to the measure of home confinement for previous offences of the same type.
The operation was carried out by investigators from the Mobile Squad of the Questura, assisted by trained dogs from the Nettuno unit. During the search of the flat, officers and dogs found a significant quantity of prohibited substances: 50 grammes of cocaine and ten grammes of hashish. A portion of the drug had already been divided into individual packages, ready to be sold to buyers in the local criminal network.
Faced with the evidence gathered, the fifty-one-year-old was immediately arrested. The investigative documentation was sent to the public prosecutor in Cassino, who requested that the preliminary investigation judge approve the arrest and adopt a more severe restrictive measure.
The judge at the local court fully accepted the prosecution's requests: after validating the arrest, he ordered that the defendant remain under house arrest, but with the additional requirement of an electronic tag. This device will allow his movements to be monitored in real time, preventing any recurrence of unlawful conduct.
