Milan's Supervisory Court will rule within five days on the request for supervised probation for Alberto Stasi. The Public Prosecutor's Office has expressed a favourable opinion based on the 42-year-old's good conduct in prison.

A ruling expected in the next 120 hours could radically change Alberto Stasi's prison situation. The Milan tribunal competent in penal enforcement matters held a closed-door discussion on the possibility of transferring the convicted man outside the penitentiary, placing him under the care of territorial social services.
Deputy Prosecutor Valeria Marino expressed a favourable opinion, highlighting the constructive profile of the 42-year-old during his time behind bars. Reports from the team at Bollate, particularly from the educational sector, describe a detainee who respects the rules. Following a television appearance in March 2025 that had generated tensions with the Prosecutor's Office, Stasi avoided further contact with the media. On that occasion the prosecution had attempted to revoke the semi-liberty status he had obtained a few months earlier, but the Supreme Court rejected the appeal.
During the preliminary evidence hearing the convicted man answered the judges' questions calmly, demonstrating willingness to engage. He currently works as an accountant in a financial company in the Lombardy capital, employment that allows him to pay compensation to the family of the girl killed in 2007.
In the event of a favourable outcome, strict conditions will be imposed: prohibition on leaving the country, evening curfew, media silence. The remaining sentence will be served under controlled semi-liberty, with the possibility of revocation in case of violations. The process is expected to continue until 2028.
The victim's relatives, represented by Tizzoni and Compagna, have reiterated that the judicial truth remains unchanged and that any rehabilitative measures fall within the court's competence.
The supervised probation file is separate from the request for revision of the judgment promoted by lawyers Bocellari and De Rensis. The Pavia Prosecutor's Office has indeed opened a new investigative chapter indicating Sempio, a long-time friend of the 26-year-old's brother, as a possible material perpetrator of the crime.
