Frosinone, stalking: ex-boyfriend subject to residence ban and electronic monitor
In recent days, officers of the Mobile Squad of Frosinone have executed a restrictive order issued by the judge for preliminary investigation at the local District Court against a man resident in the province. The order is part of criminal proceedings for harassment to the detriment of his ex-partner.
The violent and harassing behaviours had intensified particularly in recent weeks, making intervention by the magistracy necessary. The order imposes on the suspect a ban on residing in Frosinone, a ban on approaching the victim and on frequenting places she habitually visits. The use of a remote electronic monitoring device has also been ordered.
Execution of the measure was entrusted to investigators of the Second Section of the Mobile Squad, who had conducted the investigation.
It is clarified that the man is currently only suspected of the offence and that his position will be definitively evaluated during the course of the trial. Only following a judgment that has become final can he potentially be found guilty of the fact alleged, in accordance with the constitutional principle of presumption of innocence.
