His definitive arrest came in March 2025, when an irrevocable sentence was handed down for the offence of criminal conspiracy aimed at drug trafficking with the aggravating factor of mafia methods. The investigation had shown how the man coordinated shipments and supplies through encrypted conversations on secure platforms.
His return to his home country took place via a flight that landed at Fiumicino, with an escort from Fast Italia operators and the Ican unit, who collaborated with Spanish authorities to locate the fugitive.
