Reports from citizens led to the arrest of a man in Rozzano, in the Milan area. The person stopped was already known to law enforcement and was apprehended by officers in the green spaces of the public housing neighbourhood.
During the search, the officers found in his possession 48 doses of narcotic substance, identified as cocaine. The man was also armed: police seized a semi-automatic pistol and three bullets from him.
The operation was launched following repeated reports from residents of the area, who were concerned about drug dealing taking place in the neighbourhood's parks.
