A woman in her 50s who was stripped of the right to use social media following a conviction for online harassment has nonetheless participated in new interviews on YouTube.
The woman, who has become known under the name "TikTok Grandmother", was sentenced to prison and received a ban on using a number of online platforms. Despite this, posts containing criminal statements remain online.
She has now also participated in new interviews on the video platform YouTube. This occurs after Salten and Lofoten District Court delivered its judgment in the case.
One of those targeted by the woman's online conduct has expressed strong surprise that she continues her activity.
"I would be truly surprised if this does not lead to some form of reaction," the person told Avisa Nordland.
The case has attracted considerable attention in Nordland after the woman for an extended period shared content online that several people experienced as threatening and offensive. The court's decision was meant to put a stop to the activity, but it does not appear to have had sufficient effect.
