A 27-year-old man held in custody, suspected of murder in Ammerud in Oslo, is additionally charged with writing a threatening message directed at MDG politician Frøya Skjold Sjursæther (19) on Facebook. This is reported by ba.no.
In the comments section of a BT article on Facebook, the man allegedly wrote in May 2025 that he "hopes someone beats the shit out of frøya at the school leavers' party", according to the charge. At that time, Sjursæther was a school leaver.
For this, he is charged with intimidating and reckless conduct. The charge also includes two separate instances in which he allegedly threatened and was abusive towards police last year.
The murder case concerns a man in his 40s who was found dead in a flat in the Ammerud district over the weekend. TV 2 was first to report the connection between the two counts of the charge.
In 2025, Sjursæther was elected as a Storting representative for Hordaland and is described as Norway's youngest Storting representative. Since her school leaving year, she has moved to Oslo to work full-time as a politician for the MDG.

The main hearing in the threat case is scheduled for Follo and Nordre Østfold district court in August.
