On Sunday morning, shortly after eight o'clock, police were alerted to a stabbing in Bergen. A man in his mid-40s was attacked and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
Operations commander Bjarte Rebnord told TV 2 that the victim was awake and conscious when he was taken away. The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
A man in his early 20s was arrested shortly after the incident and is charged with the stabbing. He was taken to the emergency doctor's clinic.
Police have also brought in a woman in her 20s who was in the vicinity when the violence occurred. The motive for the attack has not yet been established, according to Rebnord.
