A man already facing charges in a major drug case was caught in the act of committing new criminal offences after the main hearing in the first case was postponed.
According to Bladet Vesterålen, the man was due to appear in court charged with serious drug crime. However, the trial was postponed. Following the postponement, the same man was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and with receiving stolen goods.
The police have filed a new charge against the man. He is now accused of both drug possession and handling stolen goods. It is not yet known what type of narcotics are involved, or the extent of the possession. Details about the stolen goods the man is alleged to have received have also not been made public.
