Police fired warning shots in Trondheim
A woman in her early twenties left an institution in Trondheim on Saturday morning while carrying a weapon. Police responded and chose to fire several warning shots to bring the situation under control.
Officers also used a stun gun against the woman. After she was arrested, it emerged that the weapon she had with her was not genuine.
Anders Fiskvik, who leads the operations centre, confirmed the incident to Adresseavisen. He stated that several shots were fired as the woman came out of the building.
Healthcare personnel subsequently took over treatment of the woman at the scene.
