A man in his twenties, known as a reality television personality, faces charges in Oslo District Court on Monday for aggravated bodily harm against two persons, according to nettavisen.no. Both violent incidents are said to have occurred during the same weekend in autumn 2025.
One of the victims is the defendant's girlfriend, against whom he is alleged to have committed aggravated assault. The man is additionally charged with petty theft of two flower baskets.
Drink-driving conviction from January
Nettavisen.no can now reveal that the reality television personality was convicted of drink-driving in January following an incident in July 2025, when he was measured at 1.66 in blood alcohol content. The car left a gravel road, destroyed a fence and crashed into a tree. The defendant did not admit guilt, but was nonetheless convicted to 28 days in prison, a fine of 10,000 kroner and loss of driving privileges.
New charge expands the case
Last week, prosecuting lawyer Tale Hagtvedt brought an expanded charge against the man, which has resulted in an additional court date being set for Wednesday 20 May. According to the new charge, he is alleged to have put his girlfriend in a chokehold on a bar in Oslo during the night of 1 March this year.
The expanded charge also encompasses a new instance of drink-driving – this time without a valid driving licence. Police stopped the man on the morning of 1 April, and he is said to have had a blood alcohol content of approximately 1.62.
The reality television personality is defended by lawyer Morten Andreassen and trainee lawyer Oline Bredeli at Advokatfirmaet Elden.
