Son of Norwegian Crown Princess sentenced to home detention for rape

Son of Norwegian Crown Princess sentenced to home detention for rape
A court in Oslo issued a ruling on Monday sending Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Norway's Crown Princess, to home detention. The 29-year-old was sentenced in mid-June to four years imprisonment for rape, but that sentence was not final.
The prosecution has filed an appeal against Monday's ruling. Pending the appeal hearing, Høiby remains in custody.
Høiby is the eldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit. He has previously come under media scrutiny for various incidents.
