According to Google News BO — Crime, General Víctor Revoredo of the National Police of Peru (PNP) has commented on the capture of the person identified as 'Jhonsson Pulpo', suspected key member of the criminal organisation known as 'Los Pulpos', which has registered operations in the city of Trujillo.
In statements to the radio station Exitosa—95.5 FM and digital signal 6.1—, Revoredo highlighted the sustained work of law enforcement, who had reportedly followed the movements of this criminal structure over an extended period before achieving the arrest.
The general did not specify the exact date of the capture nor provide details about the formal charges brought against the detainee, although he emphasised that the result was the product of intelligence operations and prolonged surveillance against the gang.
