Agents from the National Police's Specialised Cybercrime Investigation Department raided a corporate building in Asunción last Thursday afternoon as part of an investigation into alleged criminal activity linked to gambling, according to ultimahora.com.

The operation resulted in the detention of four people: Gustavo Enrique Crosa and Argentine citizens Fiorella Lara Cuenca, Nicolás Daniel Cortina and Lucas Manuel Bakman. In total, 20 people were identified as members of the alleged illegal scheme.

"It is a platform that allows mainly Argentine citizens to exploit these games either through a mobile phone or a computer," he told radio station Monumental 1080 AM.

Prosecutor Orlando Édgar Paiva explained that payments were made from the premises to those who won in the games, with transfers that were mostly directed to Argentina.

Among the assets seized during the procedure are two luxury vehicles—a Porsche and a BMW, both white—USD 22,000 and G. 108,500,000 in cash, 40 computer equipment, 15 notebooks, 585 mobile phones with SIM cards, unused SIM cards, storage devices and documents of interest to the investigation.
