A 39-year-old man lost his life in violent circumstances in the Republicano neighbourhood of the Paraguayan capital, according to a report by La Nación. The victim was identified as Luis César Ríos González.
According to accounts from people who witnessed the incident, Ríos González was sitting outside a small shop when he was approached by four individuals who executed him. Once the attack was carried out, the killers fled towards an area of the neighbourhood known as Caracolito. So far, authorities have been unable to establish their identities or current whereabouts.
Police authorities confirmed that the deceased had no previous criminal record. Detectives are currently reviewing security camera footage installed in the area in hopes of obtaining leads about those responsible.
