The case required the coordination of a binational mechanism that enabled the child's mother to re-establish contact with her. Border authorities worked together to clarify how the minor crossed from Paraguay into Argentine territory without the necessary documentation or consent.
The irregular transfer of the child triggered alarms in both countries, which led to an intensive search to establish her whereabouts and guarantee her physical integrity.
