Anti-narcotics authorities in Paraguay arrested 20-year-old Jabari Brown in Asunción, known on social media as "Captain Treezy", after discovering a large quantity of drugs in his possession. The young man had become famous months earlier after winning a private jet valued at two million dollars in a contest by popular YouTuber MrBeast, whose video has surpassed 148 million views.
Agents seized 261.6 kilograms of "premium" marijuana with high THC content, whose market value is estimated at $3.6 million. The operation was carried out in the Paraguayan capital, where Brown remains detained pending judicial investigations.
The case has generated wide international repercussion due to the notoriety the young man had achieved following his participation in the viral video of the well-known content creator.
