Officers from the National Police succeeded in apprehending a man linked to a large-scale robbery at a commercial establishment in the capital. During the raid, which took place on 22 April, the criminals made off with household articles worth approximately G. 60 million.

The targeted shop is located on Avenida Guido Boggiani. According to a report published by the newspaper La Nación, footage captured by the business's closed-circuit cameras shows the moment the robbers break through the main entrance and, within minutes, seize various pieces of equipment before fleeing.

Commissioner Cristian Sosa, head of the Investigations department, confirmed on Telefuturo that search procedures made it possible to detain one of the six participants. Detectives already have the personal details of the fugitives, against whom arrest warrants have been issued.

The police chief described those implicated as criminals experienced in this type of operation, who carry firearms and operate when target businesses are closed, after having observed them beforehand. If they encounter security personnel, they do not hesitate to use force to subdue them.

The gang's method of operation involves destroying the security systems of shops to gain access to the interior and make off with costly goods. Each of the six individuals has a criminal record. The file has been handed over to the Public Ministry, which is understood to have obtained the arrest orders.
