Andrew and Tristan Tate accused of human trafficking and sexual crimes in Romania
Romanian prosecutors have accused the Tate brothers of human trafficking of minors, money laundering and sexual crimes. Luxury cars valued at 825,000 euros were subject to seizure.

Romania's Public Prosecutor's Office brought charges on Friday, 9 September, against British influencer Andrew Tate for human trafficking of minors, money laundering and sexual crimes, according to dn.pt.
His older brother, Tristan Tate, was also accused of complicity and attempting to obstruct justice.
Romania's Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) detailed in a statement a series of crimes attributed to the two men, including the alleged sexual exploitation of a minor transported to Luton, in the United Kingdom, for the purposes of online pornography. The document also mentions attempts to pressure another victim not to file a complaint with the authorities.
In the official statement, the defendants were not identified by name. The authorities indicated only that the two were British citizens, aged 38 and 39, members of the same family. The news agencies Agerpress, Antena3 and Digi24 identified them as the Tate brothers.
As part of the investigation, prosecutors also requested the seizure of four luxury vehicles belonging to the two brothers, with a total estimated value of 825,000 euros.
Andrew and Tristan Tate also face separate legal proceedings in the United States and the United Kingdom.
