Man from Dolj arrested after harassing and assaulting mother of ex-girlfriend in Craiova
A 28-year-old man from Dolj followed his former partner for days and assaulted her mother. The suspect has been arrested and ordered to wear an electronic bracelet.

According to ProTV News, a 28-year-old man from Craiova has been arrested by police after harassing his former girlfriend, aged 20, and assaulting her mother, a 47-year-old woman.
The two had been in a relationship for several months. After the breakup, the suspect did not accept the young woman's decision not to resume the relationship. Investigators claim that the man followed her for days on the streets of her neighbourhood and threatened her with violence.
At one point, the suspect went to the flat where the young woman lived together with her mother. His former partner was not at home. An argument broke out between the man and the girl's mother, with the individual threatening the woman, after which he struck her and left the residence.
The victim and her daughter reported the matter to police. The man was quickly caught and arrested. Under a provisional protection order, he is obliged to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.
The authorities are expected to request the preventive arrest of the suspect for assault, threats, and harassment.
