Hidden brothel in spa centre in Sector 6: administrator detained, 185,000 lei seized
A 34-year-old woman, administrator of a brothel concealed within a spa salon in Bucharest, has been detained for 24 hours and will be presented to court.

A 34-year-old woman was detained on Thursday by Bucharest police after allegedly operating a concealed brothel in a spa centre in Sector 6, according to ProTV News citing Agerpres and the press office of Bucharest General Police Headquarters (DGPMB).
The suspect is administrator of a commercial company that owned a building in Sector 6 where a salon for body maintenance activities operated. According to investigators, during the May–October period, the woman allegedly facilitated prostitution by several people, making the space available for sexual services with various clients.
The action was coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to Sector 6 District Court. Police officers from the Criminal Investigation Service of Bucharest General Police Headquarters (DGPMB) Sector 6, supported by Police Stations 20 and 22, executed two residential search warrants in Bucharest and Ilfov County.
During the searches, several items with evidentiary value were identified and seized, as well as more than 185,300 lei whose provenance could not be justified.
The woman was traced and brought in for questioning based on a warrant for her arrest, after which she was detained for 24 hours. She is to be presented to magistrates with a proposal for a legal measure to be taken.
The criminal file concerns the offence of pimping in continuous form. Investigations are continuing by officers from the Criminal Investigation Service – Sector 6, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office attached to Sector 6 District Court.
