A 15-year-old boy from Värmland was arrested after a police tactical unit raided Karlstad. The boy is suspected of being behind a contract killing targeting a 14-year-old classmate.
The younger boy was threatened with death if he did not carry out the act. His entire family would be killed if he refused, according to threats made in a chat conversation.
The 14-year-old had come into contact with the older boy through a video game. When he said he did not want to carry out the murder, he received repeated threats.
Both boys, who previously attended the same secondary school in Karlstad, are now being prosecuted for the crime.
