Chinese commander from Jin Hui released – investigation continues
The commander of the vessel Jin Hui has been released from custody following detention since May. The prosecutor states that the grounds for detention are no longer sufficient.

Commander of sanctions-listed vessel leaves custody
The Chinese commander from the vessel Jin Hui has been released, according to Aftonbladet. He was held in custody since the beginning of May, suspected of using a forged document, a serious crime.
– There were no longer sufficient grounds for detention. The investigation has not been closed, says prosecutor Agneta Roos.
Jin Hui was boarded on 3 May whilst travelling into the Baltic Sea. The Coast Guard stated at the time that the vessel had been tracked for a period and that it appeared on several sanctions lists, including those of the EU and Great Britain.
