Police apprehended a man in the early hours of Midsummer's Day after a woman reported being raped outdoors on Kungsholmen in Stockholm.

Shortly after half past four on Midsummer's Day, police apprehended a man suspected of raping a woman in the open air on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. The woman had reported the assault. Using footage from surveillance cameras, investigators were able to track the man's route and apprehend him at another location.
The site of the incident has been cordoned off. Crime scene technicians and a specialist search dog have searched the area in order to secure evidence.
The victim has received hospital care.
