A man in his 20s was attacked with a sharp object outside a restaurant in central Uddevalla during the night leading into Sunday. The incident is being investigated as an attempted murder.
Police were called to the scene following a brawl. When the patrol arrived, it was discovered that a person had injuries caused by a sharp object, according to Anders Wennergren, duty officer at the police, speaking to SVT.
The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. He was conscious and able to speak during transport.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is suspected of attempted murder. Police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
